I have had Bronchiectisis since I was 10 years old, I am now 63 so I havn't done too bad. I find that I have to keep moving or the conjestion sits there, I go to the gym and do gentle aerobics and stretches, I also do TaiChi which helps the breathing and also helps arthritis.. I like to walk but its very hilly round here and makes me too breathless so I drive to a flat area then go for a walk. I was born in England and came to Australia when I was 12, my health improved alot in Australia, mainly I think because I discovered later that I was allergic to coal dust and we lived in the middle of 3 coal mines. I am sure I will enjoy chatting in the chat room as its nice to talk to people who know what your talking about. Cheers Doreen Find local movie times and trailers on Yahoo! Movies. Guest guest
Hello Lee and , Thankyou for your welcome, don't you both come from differant parts of the globe, one in Canada and one in Aussie . Before moving to Batemans Bay I lived in Griffith Country NSW and was effected by dust and Aerial Sprays, the sea air is great, the only problem I have now is when we get smoke from Bush Fires, then the old ventolin puffer comes out. I have been in The Bay for 5 years. I have 2 sons who live in SA and a daughter in Townsville, I get some great holidays. Have any of you got any tips for clearing ones chest besides or as well as the old postural drainage which takes so much time out of ones day. I find cleaning the bath is great for this. anyway cheers for now .
