How did you come across it in the first place? Did someone suggest it? I’m off now for a long weekend in Minneapolis. We keep getting e-mails about being able to buy percussers at stores like Walmart. Have we got a store like that here that sells them? I`ve been waking up during the night after gasping for breath and a few times my husband Bob has had to wake me while I`ve been trying to breath. I thought I was just dreaming it was happening to me until Bob started waking me and telling me it was actually happening. I hope that makes sense to you all. As you can see Cheryl, I`d never make a good writer as I don`t know how to put things into words properly. That`s why I don`t write too many emails. Anyway, I haven`t told my doctor about this yet but last night was the last straw as I actually woke up not being able to breath for a few seconds. I would like to try the percusser or something similar as maybe I`m not clearing my lungs properly and that could be causing it. Hopefully someone can help me with this, percussor , I’ve been using the percussor from Walmart for 2 weeks and find that it works as well as or better than anything else. Guest guest Posted October 22, 2004 Report Share Posted October 22, 2004 Hi , I live in Brisbane--anything that might help with percussion is prob a good idea--I get coughing spasms sometimes when i lie down at night and i think its due to mucous down deep in the lungs somewhere--hard to clear--if you ring the cystic fibrosis society they may be able to help with the percussor--they are ususally pretty on the ball with the best and latest in mucous shifting devices--I dont know if we have an equivalent shop to Walmart--maybe Target or K mart--Cheers Del percussor , I’ve been using the percussor from Walmart for 2 weeks and find that it works as well as or better than anything else. I found it in an area of the store that has massage units for the back and feet. I also found it on Amazon.com under Health and Personal Care. The unit is called HoMedic PA-100 Therapist Select Percussion Action Massager. One of the emails suggested that you ask your doctor about sleep apnea.
