Guest guest
Hi all, first of all – Becki, it is so good to hear from you. Sounds like you came through with flying colours – as I knew you would. Yay you! Cheers to all who are suffering at the moment, which sounds like most of us. I had my Intragam transfusion today (to boost my immune system), so I’m incredibly tired – as always after a transfusion. Well, last month my immunologist said he would request a full dose of Intragam for me this time round, but the Blood Bank knocked it back. They are just so short of supplies they couldn’t manage it. Dang! But I started on Ciproxin yesterday, so hopefully that’s going to knock this infection on the head. The respiratory specialist ordered four weeks supply!!! But, if that doesn’t work, I’ll have two or three days of IV’s in hospital. As horrid as it is to be in hospital, I would prefer to get rid of this infection; it’s been hanging around now for nearly six months. It is very draining, as you would all know. Well, that’s it from me. Everyone, look after yourselves.
