Guest guest
Thanks Del for the kind words, we have to go to Brisbane for the specialist treatment, and I have become allergic to all drugs, under the watchful eye od Gp, take only meds for BP, and pain, still take morphine at the moment, but unable to be treated for any of my problems except the pain relief and BP, as they are the only things I havent, become allergic to. They will re assess in 9 monthe and try and wean me on cortisone, but until then they ( no specialists) will take the risk of me dieing again. I just hope that in 9 months they can try again as the quality of life is only all pain, I would die if I didn,t have the group to run, and the people there are all very ill, need all the help they can get, but all tell me they love me.( these people have never had anyone say they love them, never been shown love or a hug) They often come for a hug, and then say ( I,ll be gentle or something similar) My work is my meds. I really would not survive without it and the lovely people I care for. I do have a wonderful loving family, and that was enough to keep me going, but now I know too that they feel helpless to see me so unwell, and they know too that if I didn,t care for these people and need to show them love, they too would understand my wanting to throw in the towell, and would be understanding even though of course they would miss me etc, they hate to see me in so much pain. They often come to the group and help out, I,m sure they are glad to see me appearing to be somewhat pain free for a time ( couple of hrs). We are all here for reasons and they do reach much further than those of our own, we really are all family. And yes I probably did at one time have that so callled dr. Well to anyone reading the letters today, " here looking at you kids" Have a cheery day or evening whichever is the case, and keep smiling, even if if its for someone else. Sandy( Q, land) Australia.
