Guest guest
Let me throw a wrench into it too! Lorenzo was not a preemie, and he got scaphy from sleeping on his stomach! When he slept, he would have all the pressure on the temples of his head. This pushed those 2 skull plates in and formed scaphy. The back of his head is perfectly fine! Including the sides of the back of his head! Go figure... in KY I think the way it was explained is that the > kids are sleeping on their backs, with their heads rotated from side to side- > (right mods?) but now that you say was on her side, hmmmmm.... My > opinion (key word) is that even on the sides they can become overstretched, > but my question is, did also have tort or any neck issues? I know > 's son developed tort from laying him on his right side, but he did not > have scaphy. You can picture that laying on the side would cramp one muscle, > and overextend the other- > Thanks Dustie, your making me think way harder than I wanted to today! ) > > ' mom
