Guest guest
Thanks for the responses. I have lived on motrin (I take 800 mgs round the clock) because if I don't I get achy and just feel feverish and horrible. After I take the motrin I feel much better. Could this be something related to EN? I have never really put the two together....of course I have never seen anyone for it, I just figured because of my weight issues I felt achy (but it's not really joint aches, just general achiness and BLAH)---maybe too much suger, etc... Any insight? Geracoulis Owner,Bless Your Pets!www.blessyourpets.org To: erythema_nodosum_Group From: huskbear147@...Date: Fri, 16 May 2008 12:31:20 -0700Subject: Re: hello! Pretty happy to find a support group! I'm curious---I had strep about 6 weeks ago and was obviously preparing myself for a bout of EN. About a week ago my knee started aching and is very weak and painful. The only nodule I have is on the spot I had my very first biopsy when I was 13 (I am now 45) which is the one spot that ALWAYS inflames, even if I have had a weak virus and no major EN bout. But apart from feeling TIRED and fatigued and a painful knee and biopsy spot, no other nodules have erupted. Has anyone else ever had a "minor" bout that amounted to just the malaise and aching knees as well as overall aching body? I am quite overweight, so I always think it might be weight related, but this is so perfectly timed with when I normally have my nodules post strep. I can't help but think this is what it is. THANKS--I'll give a better intro next time!
