It depends on their time of the month, i heard this from dr.drew from love line, during their menstration cycle they want the bad boys and when they are off they need the nice guy. It is that happy medium between needing that perfect Arsehole and a nice guy. No nice guys dont finish last, just the shy ones. If you figure out how to be strong/confident and also emotionally open and romantic then you found the balance that is hard for us guys to be ok with and woman are dying for. Any girls on the list have thoughts why you perfer bad boys over nice guys? Below is reasons i have found why women perfer badboys.1. Rebels are confidentThat's right. They wouldn't be able to pull off half of the antics they do if they weren't brimming with confidence. Bad boys aren't just confident around their friends, either - their cavalier attitude is in everything they do, from eating their cereal in the morning, to asking the bartender for a cool glass of draft... to talking to the ladies on the balcony at a friend's party. No matter where you look, women find confidence a major turn on.2. Rebels are indifferentBad boys just simply don't give a damn. They can take it or leave it. That's one reason why they fare well with women. If a woman says no, who cares? They move on to the next one, and they do it with the same verve and maverick attitude as they did the last one. They also don't like men that they can see coming a mile away. Contrary to the belief women like men they can read and men that provide them with a sense of security, women actually LOVE to guess! It is challenging for them, and it is one of the elements of the bad boy that keeps them coming back for more!5. Rebels are very masculineThis often goes hand-in-hand with being confident, indifferent, exciting, adventurous... etc. Bad boys are often rugged and in-control. That doesn't mean controlling; they just know how to get what they want. They speak clearly and confidently, they look you in the eye, they are passionate about what they believe in... but most importantly, they still know how to treat a lady. 6. Rebels give women a feeling of powerThe illusion of control is often more powerful than control itself. Power within a relationship, power outside of a relationship - it doesn't matter - being with a bad boy, encompassing all of the above traits, gives women an air of strength and togetherness. We all have our viewpoints, Matt.. including this author... it just seems that nice guys finish last.   Let all the bad boys (and girls) race on ahead and then you can get a better look at the real people.  jzk you are welcome. Nice viewpoints, i should find the author of that article and say oh no you dont make it a more green light to ignore us nice guys. Dang green day for making that "nice guys finish last", sure if we are tying our shoes when gun goes off. Most of the rebellious kind of men you point out are scared guys who put up a front and need a good psych appt. In my view nothing is more attractive than a man who knows himself, is comfortable with who he is, and has a healthy sense of humor about who he is not. Very interesting point you make, Janet. Funny you mentinoned it,

because that very topic came up in my conversation with this

individual. I was talking with her about the bad/good boys/girls and

such, then suggested that nice guys don't finish last at all. They

just think they do. I was like, " I'll just let all the bad types

make their mistakes and take full advantage of it, by learning from

them so I don't make those same mistakes.

Daneka.. my brother was a bad boy growing up. Did everything in his

power to make my mom's life miserable, and then some. I vowed I'd

never turn out that way, and I never have. I wanted to be everything

my brother wasn't.
