Hi Dustie,

I can't help but respond to this because the exact same thing

happened to me about 1 month ago. Makenna had a fever of about 101

for days. I took her to urgent care on night and they said she

probably had a cold (along with teething), even though she had no

cold symptoms, because fevers from teething usually don't get to 101

degrees. The doc also said her ears were fine. 2 days later, her ear

ruptured. My personal opinion, I'd take her back in to get a check.

I think having a fever for a week would mean that she is fighting

some bug or infection....especially 101.5. Again, just my opinion.

After a week of a sick and cranky Makenna, I was ready for some

medication myself. My heart goes out to you.

Hi Dustie!

None of my kids ever had a fever that high from teething. That

doesn't mean that, that's not the case w/. I'd take her back for

a recheck and see what they say. Maybe it's viral?

None of you could ever drive me crazy! LOL

I hope is feeling better soon!!
