Dear Group Members.

This email is my once yearly " Special Notice " to bring you up to date.

Today our EN Group marks its 4th Birthday. I'd like to thank all

members for their support and participation over the past year.

Our EN Group consists of members with PG, RA, Sarcoidosis and the many

related disorders. We have over a dozen " Resource Members " including

Jeff for PG and lie for RA who consistently help fellow members in

need of information, support, and friendship.

Your willingness to help each other is inspiring.

Our Group has grown from a handful of founding members in 2003 to over

1600.

We are continuing our partnership with NORD [National Org. for Rare

Disorders] to raise money for EN Medical Research.

Kay offered our group a lovely Kay Mother's Day Gift Set

and donated her entire profit to our EN Research Fund. It amounted to

$255, the largest single donation to date.

Thanks for all your donations!

Debbie came up with the idea of setting up a Pledge Drive for EN

Research and she has pledged $20 per month for a year. This amounts to

about 65 cents a day and raises $240/yr. Any pledge amount is welcome.

and gives me valuable input.

If you are interested in seeing what we are doing and plan to do,

please check out our new Group Site. If you are willing to put in the

work, consider joining us.

We need to raise a total of $35,000 for NORD to establish the EN

Research Grant. We have the membership to do this if we all

contribute. The sooner we reach our goal, the faster the research can

begin. Because our group is international, many of our members are not

American and will need to convert their funds to US dollars to

contribute. Please don't let this extra step stop you from donating.

We are all affected by EN, so we need to work together to cure it.

If you have gotten value from your EN Group Membership, please

contribute whatever money you can either by outright donation or in

Pledge Form to put an end to EN for us all. I know we can end EN

suffering if we all contribute what we can, and I am confident that

our Group will take up the challenge to do this for ourselves and

humanity.
