Any information?

Hi, I haven't posted to this group in a couple of years. But some

strange things are happening, and I figured I'd see if anyone here

had any information.

I developed EN I guess about two years ago. It was extremely severe,

with my knees and hip joints swelling and hurting to the point I was

using a walker. I was hospitalized and kept for two days. I was given

steroids, and recovered nicely. There was never any clue as to what

caused it, and tests for all autoimune disease came back negative.

Now it seems about two or three times a year I have " flare ups " . I

haven't had ANYTHING close to what I had the first time--fever, pain

to the point where I'm bedridden, angry red splotches on my shins--

but I have similar joint pain a few times a year that comes, stays

maybe a week or two, then goes away. I had it this week--I thought I

tore my rotator cuff, and it was EXCRUTIATING--but as soon as I made

a doctor's appointment, it went away--but not before affecting other

joints (knees, my back and my other shoulder).

Everytime I get bloodwork done for anything, it's negative. Has

anyone had any experiences like this, or is it just me? It's

frustrating, because I feel like nobody really knows WHAT the heck is

going on.
