that!I'm sorry you are still suffering with your back. I think I mentioned that my Hubby had close to two yrs. of back pain due to a herniated disc and stenosis and arthritis. The epidural shots did not help him much. He is doing a lot better now that he uses his TENS machine daily. It was like a miracle. The problem is there, but the TENS somehow confuses the pain signals so it is not perceived as pain--or something like that. It is better than taking medication, and he can use the TENS as often as he wants. I don't think the TENS can hurt you in any way.
