Guest guest
Hi, Yes, the opening should be on the flat side. Tim Littlefield from Cranial Tech said this is why: The side-opening band was designed specifically to treat children with a significant amount of asymmetry and allows the corrective forces to be applied diagonally across the cranium (i.e. from right forehead to left occiput). I'm assuming your baby is in a DOCband, all of us parents whose babies are in DOCbands have the opening on the flat side. I hope this helps. --- In Plagiocephaly , " clubkroatie " <tanja512@h...> wrote: > We just received our band yesterday. > Now I am wondering why the opening, the velcro strap is on the flat > side. Guest guest
What band do you have? DOCband velcro is almost always on the flat side - it would be a rare instance that it would not be on the flat side.
