In October I'll be moving my butt (and the rest of me) back to the glorious Northwest. There will be a 4 day drive from New York to Seattle making a stop in Chicago and then continuing on to follow the Oregon Trail west. This path will take us through such stunning sites as Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, and Oregon's Columbia River Gorge (wow!!!)!!! http://www.roadtripusa.com/routes/oregontrail/oregontrail.html The above link shows most of the route. The beginning is a bit different as I will be starting on Long Island, not in Boston. But Chicago will be the first overnight stop. Following that there will be two or three more overnights along the way. This will be a spectacular journey! I am looking for someone who's up for the adventure. I will pay your airfare one way. If you are starting in the East, I will pay your return fare from Seattle. If you are starting in the West, I will fly you out to New York at the start of the journey and then drive you home. A good companion is worth AT LEAST the price of a one way trip. For those who have heard more about a different ultimate destination, what you have heard is very much alive. Seattle is merely a first stop to ground myself, gather my resources, visit some great friends and prepare myself for what lays ahead! Interested? Write me! Know someone who's reliable, adventurous, enthusiastic, and itchin' for adventure? Write me now! Don't hesitate! Come aboard! Love, Ivy PS. Serious inquiries only. No flaky responses or persons likely to back out due to a bad mood, hangover or other temporary disconnect from reality. Be fully enthusiastic and committed! The road awaits!!! PPS. To those for whom this sentiment applies: Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PPPS. And of course, those who know me, know it is likely I will be back in New York again come summer to work at my beloved Usdan.
