Just, as I've said so many times here and elsewhere, it's much more common among autists and " gifted " people. It's pretty common among NT(?) mathematicians, etc. I'm very familiar with the Briggs Myers tests, and similar. Took a *real* hard look at them some years ago when I was trying to explain myself to me. She's quite a woman. Do you know her history? As to " are you sure you're not AS? " That was meant as a sort-of half-of a joke. Most Aspergians at least are far more NT-ish than some here give us credit for. Social? I'm social; just a lot less than others. Like you, I too " prefer small groups " . My ideal is my wife and me and two more couples. *Max* of six people, or I get real grumpy . - Bill, 75, AS -- WD " Bill " Loughman - Berkeley, California USA http://home.earthlink.net/~wdloughman/wdl.htm

I could have written what you just did, ...with extensions and flourishes. Except if I'm saving anyone, it's always me. Not as bad as it sounds: The rare other people in there with me all are OK, always. *I'm* the one being chased or falling off cliffs. On the other hand, I rarely dream now; ...recallable that is. *That's* a whole 'nother story. - Bill, 75, AS -- WD " Bill " Loughman - Berkeley, California USA http://home.earthlink.net/~wdloughman/wdl.htm
