Frisch Hara, MA, MT-BC, LCAT is a board certified

music therapist, licensed creative arts therapist and received her

Master’s Degree in music therapy from New York University. She has

provided music therapy and psychotherapy to a broad range of

individuals for more than 18 years. holds a certificate in

intensive psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Alanson White

Institute and directed the 9.11 New York City Music Therapy Relief

Project (a collaboration between the American Music Therapy Association

and the Recording Academy- the producer of the Grammy’s). She is in

Private Practice in New York City. specializes in working with

adults with emotional growth issues, (in psychotherapy and music

psychotherapy), adolescents with emotional issues, young children

with developmental, communication, and emotional disabilities, and

seniors with Alzheimer's disease. is on the faculty of the New

York University Graduate Music Therapy program, where she is an Adjunct

Clinical Assistant Professor and has trained numerous graduate music

therapy interns. She has authored articles, edited, and served on the

Editorial Review Board of “Music Therapy Perspectives.â€
