Guest guest
Karin, That is really supportive of him, isn't it? I left the email that Naymn sent beside the computer. Hopefully, he will read it. Even if he read sit, he still does not realize the impact of this disease. I have probably had this disease many years as my pulmonary doctor finally said in July when I was in the hospital. I told him, "Yes, I agree with you, but I could not get my primary care doctor to refer me to a pulmonologist." My primary care doctor said, "It takes a long time for those allergy shots to help." After the two bouts of walking pneumonia within six months, he finally sent me to get a CT scan. After the results of the scan, he quickly picked up the phone and called the pulmonary care doctor's office and asked that I be seen immediately. If I had still been primary on my husband's insurance, a PPO type insurance, I would have been in that pulmonary doctor's office long before I was finally referred. I had been telling my primary care doctor that I was short of breath. He said that it was due to my heart condition, mitral valve prolapse. Thanks for your support. I hope that those of you who have the support of your spouse and family appreciate it. I would mean a lot to me. Norma

Guest guest
I do appreciate my husband. I really got the pick of the litter with him! He even helps me with postural drainage, by doing the clapping. He was freaked out by it at first, because he was afraid he was going to hurt me. Isn't that sweet?
