Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, ifyou do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wishto join this group. At first I thought my feet were just sore frominactivity, so I did what I normally do - go for arun. It was a good run actually, but that evening andthe days that follow, I paid for it. As things wenton for the 4th and 5th day, I knew something was up. And when both ankles started to swell, all kinds ofmajor rhumetory conditions sprang to mind. My doctorrecognized it right off the bat and found I had strep. I had no Idea that I had strep. It's two weeks nowand it seems to be slowly spreading. I can't carry mynormal routine work, kids, etc. Still, the Lord isgracious and has a purpose in this. One things ismore appreciation of my wife's Fibromyalgia condition.6. List any other health conditions.None really.7. State what medications or treatments you take forEN, and their effectiveness: Generic Nabumetone for Relafen. This is easier on thestomach, but doesn't seem to be as effective as thegood old Advil Liquid gels, so I'm interlacing these. Unfortunately, Advil is hard on the GI, however theDoctor's idea of Prilosec does help with this. I cantell when the meds wear off. I get mild fever andlittle jolts in the inflamed areas. I've discoveredthat I need to force myself up at night to take theNSAIDs. If I let it go for too long of a lapse atNight, I have avery difficult time in the morning. I've had to change eating habits so that I am ready toeat something with the NSAIDs.8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? 3May079. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG?
