Guest guest
Hi Maggie, I hope things are looking a little better for you. Last year, when I was so ill, I just wanted to curl up and die. I’m so glad I didn’t. I have five wonderful grandchildren, two adult children – who are not always so wonderful – my daughter’s hubby (I won’t talk about my son’s ex), and a fantastic husband who supports me above and beyond. My five grandchildren gave me the will to live and go on; not just survive. If it weren’t for them, I probably would have given up, but I wanted to see them grow up, and I wanted to be here to set my son on the right path. He’s strayed a little over the years; not that he’s bad, just lazy! If I hadn’t become so ill, I wouldn’t have had to stay home from my day job, and I wouldn’t have been able to move my writing career forward as much as I have in such a short space of time. (I’ve been so quiet of late because I’ve just released my first book! It’s a non-fiction ebook for writers) Maggie, please try to keep your spirits up. Think about the future, and what you will miss out on if you weren’t around. That’s what I did, and it worked for me. If we all decided we’d done something terrible to cause this rotten disease, where would we be? I was one year old when I (apparently) contracted Bronchiectasis; the doctors believe I got it from measles. So what did I do wrong as a one year old? To be honest, I think it’s made me a stronger person. I also believe my writing has more passion because of what I’ve been through in my life, not just the Bronch, but other things too. I honestly believe that we endure things for a reason. You’ll have to wait and see what “He” has planned for you, and why he needs you stronger. Love and best wishes to you. Cheryl p.s.
