9/20 - Future Trends/Opportunities & CAT Job Search Seminars

Hello Everyone, I hope you had a good summer! I just want to announce that I will have two seminars on Wednesday, September 20th. Future Health Care Trends & Opportunities for Creative Arts Therapists (6:15-7:45PM) will review the current trends in health care facilities that leads to treatment programs or approaches that could be unique opportunities for creative arts therapists. We will also examine the challenges and opportunities for private practice. This seminar is open to all professionals & students who would like to get a unique perspective on the direction of healthcare & healthcare systems, from an experienced CAT/hospital administrator, to gain insights on possible future opportunities where CATs can flourish. Finding a Creative Arts Therapy Job (8-9:30PM) will offer the unique "insider" perspective from a CAT administrator on what makes a resume/cover letter effective, how to find positions despite the lack of advertising by employers, how to prepare for an interview, & how to negotiate working terms.Attendees are welcome to bring their resumes for a personal review/feedback. This seminar is geared to help working professionals that are looking to make a job change as well as those newly entering the job market. The seminars are held at the Frisch-Hara Music Therapy Studio located on Manhattan's Upper Eastside & easily accessible by public transportation.Advance registration is required as space is very limited. Early Registration fee is $25 for a seminar (if received registration form & fee by 9/18; $30 after 9/18). There is a reduced rate ($45)for attending both seminars. E-mail me at GMHaraMTBC@... for further seminar descriptions & registration form. Thank you for this attention.Regards, Hara,MA,MA,CGP,MT-BC, LCAT
