Friday, June 30th 2006, 5:30 – 7:00 pm @ AHA Offices 161 East 106th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenues El Barrio, NY Managing an attractive, current and navigable website has increasingly become a key element in securing a great impression amongst fellow artists, contractors and potential funders. Often times, due to misinformation, and lack money and other resources, many artists and organizations struggle with out-dated and confusing sites. This hands-on workshop addresses such issues as it will highlight the importance of a website as a vital marketing resource while providing participants with the necessary tools and information needed in website creation and management. Through “Deciphering the World of Websites: What you need to know before you start your site,” participants will learn of the major do’s and don’ts, pro’s and con’s involved in website management. Workshop participants will also have a unique opportunity to converse with representatives of SOMOS ARTE – a recognized Web development, Web Consultant and Graphic Design Company in the Latino community – about their marketing and communication needs related to particular websites.
