Audience members will

have the opportunity to dialogue with José

Can Speak writers, actors and Director, Nieves-,

following a live performance.

The panel will explore

the relationship between performance and the written word. Highlighting

the theater as a space for creative exploration and interpretation of the word,

this panel is dedicated to celebrating “living literature” in Latina creative expression.

A groundbreaking event, JOSÉ CAN SPEAK honors and gives voice to

Latino men as performed by their female counterparts.

The panel and performance will be followed by a brief reception to

give a close to the final part of our four part series.
