Guest guest
Hello Everyone, This is a workshop for anyone--all levels of yoga and/or art experience: Yoga and Art for Self Acceptance If you have ever left a yoga class feeling peaceful, receptive and creative then you can imagine how wonderful it would be to make art after doing yoga. In this workshop we will begin with a vigorous practice comprised of both Kundalini and vinyasa elements. The group will move into a guided meditation for opening self-expression. After the meditation, art materials will be waiting for each participant to create a series of mono-prints. The technique you will learn requires no particular skills or previous art experience. The benefit of this approach is in the process; facilitating self-discovery through playful manipulation of materials. Share your creation only if you are inspired to do so! Each part of the workshop is designed to allow you to clearly and fully experience the present moment. Accepting yourself in the present creates the possibility of flourishing right now. Self-acceptance allows you to be happy just as you are, without making any changes. The goal for the day is to enjoy! Join me on June 17 for an afternoon of fun, adventure and self-exploration.
