Holiday Social info & Silent Auction Items

to All my fellow ‘will the personal posts ever stop’ NYCCAT

e-groupers!

As

you know the NYCCAT Holiday Social is coming

up this Wednesday night, December 20th at MADAME X. I had the

chance to check out the space this week, meet the owner Amy and have a

cawktail. The bar/lounge is perfect for just chillaxing (a 12 year old

client taught me that word), whether you partake in cawtails or not –

lots of comfy couches to mix and mingle on and about. There is also a

heated garden! I know it’s a weeknight BUT hopefully you will be

able to join us even if it’s for a wee bit of time, enough time to enjoy

some food stuffs and network with your colleagues and friends – known to

you or new to you.

Also, we are looking for a few more silent auction items. Actually not

items but services like massage, Yoga, spa etc… and HEY! even CREATIVE

ARTS THERAPY services! I know for a fact that there are many CATs

who would like to experience other modalities but find themselves hesitant in

their approach. This would be a great opportunity to provide an

introduction to the practice of your modality. Plus there will be lots

of non NYCCAT people at the bar and they might just mosey on over and make a bid

on your service! Excellent promotional tool too! CAT supervision is

also a wonderful service to offer especially to those who just graduated and/or

could use some perspective other than their own. : )

to this email is a sample of bid sheets used to describe an auction item.

To complete your bid sheet you can save the file to your computer, edit as

needed and then send it back to me OR you can email me the information and I

will be happy to make one for you. Please let me know if we can count on

your item(s) and if so, let me know which way you would like to complete the

bid sheet. I would need the information by Wednesday morning.

And

yes I know there are many CATs outside of NYC…beyond beaming you up we’ll

just have to figure out how to unite better in the State…a goal for 2007…suggestions

always welcome. Other option…I have a full sized guest futon!
