Have a great time at the conference. It seems like everything is

happening at once, making it impossible for many of us to come. For

some it is the conference in Boston. For others like me who would have

loved to travel to NYC for the conference, major local arts events,

planned a year in advance are happening on the same weekend.

I am on the board of an up and coming dance troupe, Geomantics Dance

Theatre. They are having a special showing at Kinections for

would be donors on Saturday. Also, ARTWalk, Rochester's Outdoor

Interactive Arts Museum, is having a silent auction on Friday night. As

dance curator for the museum, I don't want to miss this major event.

It wold help those of us who don't live in New Yourk City or its

suburbs, if we could be involved in the decision making about dates.

Perhaps then we could join the fun down state or perhaps, you could

join us here some time. Also, we did not know about the conference

dates until we got the announcement for proposals. Knowing the dates

sooner would help.

Thank you for your invatation. I would like to come, but since this weekend is the Greek Easter I wont be able to attend the conference at this time. Yes, it's an unforunate week-end for me as well, since I'm beginning my long-planned Level 2 Voice Dialogue TRaining for Mental Health Professionals. And frankly, no one gave me any advance notice about the dates either. I would certainly have attempted to change my teaching to attend this Conference.

Please keep us NYCATs better informed with your future planning.
