The people who have gathered

On the cold dark night send up cheer

As the sparks take control.

(Druid poem)

To whom it may concern,

My name is Linden Moogan. I am writing for consideration for the professional facilitator position posted (11/9/06 from: Brandoff@...). I am a licensed creative arts therapist and Board Certified counselor who specializes in dance/movement therapy and psychodramatic techniques. My forte is utilizing interactive expressive therapies to establish or reestablish a sense of relatedness to self and to others.

For over a decade I have worked as a clinician for St. 's Midtown Hospital's in-patient psychiatric unit where I have developed and implemented the Creative Arts Therapy program which treats those with mental illness and substance abuse issues. Since 1997 I have supervised dance/movement therapy interns from Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY) and Anticoch's ( Keene, New Hampshire) Master's Creative Arts/Dance Therapy programs.

My approach targets social (communication) skills development through group process to help strengthen family relationships. Participants will learn how to interact more effectively through creative communications, attunement, and movement interactions. Bridging practical applications of psychodramatic methods such as doubling and role reversal with the healing processes of dance/movement therapy create a flow of energy which eases people into deeper feelings and increasing commitments in their lives. My resume is included. I hope you consider me for these positions. Please call me @ (cell) or E-Mail @ Liv2Moov@... to set up an interview.

Respectfully,

Linden Moogan ADTR, LCAT, NCC
