Guest guest
All this reminds me of when I drive. My husband (NT) tends to over react when people pull in front of him, slam on their brakes or other misc. things people do in cars that can be dangerous and or just annoying. I find that it's very helpful if I think to myself, "If I were in that car, what are the reasons I might have done what they just did." It's sort of a game. Often I am able to come up with one or more reasons where the person might have done what they did for innocent reasons. Like "oh I remember once pulling out in front of someone because I didn't see them until it was too late" so maybe they didn't see me, then 'oh I don't even have my lights on, that would make it more difficult for them to see me. Etc and so forth. (BTW This is an exercise I do that makes me be more NT. Putting myself in the other person's shoes.) The same is true in conversations. I thought of two reasons right off of why Bill may have reacted the way he did. I can think of a couple reasons why Anita may have uploaded to file what she uploaded. AS get accused of being reactionary but NTs are just as reactionary. This is not a one sided thing. For whatever it's worth to you, Jennie AS
Guest guest
Now fair go, you Guys, I’ve been reading all this in a state of sheer disbelief. Let’s try and remember just why we’re all here. You’re a great bunch of folks and I like you all. Please don’t make me change my mind. Ron.
