Hi Carol,

I've been meaning to call you about dinner on Sunday..Fran wants to stay close to Stony Point, because this is her weekend and she doesn't want to go down to Nyack..seems it's too far away.

I suggested the new Japanese restaurant on 202 a few doors down from the A & P and Radio Shack. Bob and I have gone there often and really enjoy the food. It's spacious and they let you sit for hours uninterrupted..Fran said that would be good for her..what about you? And time..is 6 OK?

Looking forward to hearing from you and of course seeing you..

xoxo Nana

Dear Colleague,

Please do not send a private, personal e-mail to every single person in NYCCAT

yahoo groups. If you want to personally respond to the sender, you need to

send the e-mail to the sender’s e-mail address, not Yahoogroups.com.

Please respect your own privacy as much as we respect yours. Thank you.

I don’t know why folks just don’t get it. Please do not send e-mails to individuals from a listserv address. This is bad form since it clogs up others mailboxes with e-mail that is irrelevant to their lives. Barbara

Dear

I sure did, and received several letters from people who were irate that I had sent a personal message. I was really embarrassed by this mistake. It was late at night and I was sure that I had sent my message directly to my friend Carol. I didn't realize that I had done anything wrong until I began getting these irate messages. Oh well, live and learn.

Hope all is well in your family..

My best,

Nana

I seemed to do it again..sorry about this..I don't know what I'm doing incorrectly with this computer..I guess I'll get more letters this time..I'm really sorry about my inability to respond to people directly rather than on the group email..Nana..embarrassed again.

Hi Nana,

No problem. I only let you know in case the person it was meant for never received it, and you thought they did. I love it when people make mistakes, since I make so many myself!!!

Would love to get together sometime. June or thereafter (J's Bat Mitzvah is in May, so I'm crazed). Will try you.

Just to let everyone know I think the reason that we are making these meistakes with personal email is because if you press reply it replies to the while NYCCAT group...even if you do not press "reply all".

I did this myself already to..therefore if it's a personal email you need to type on the personal reply address...you cannot just use the reply button.

Hi Nana,

You must have pushed the wrong button.
