AHA is teaming up with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLANY) to bring to Queens this session that will provide an overview of the major legal issues that affect artist endeavors and that every artist and professionals within arts organizations should understand. In addition, arts and entertainment attorneys on the panel will answer audience questions.

Topics addressed in this class include intellectual property (copyrights primarily); contracts; and entity choice and formation including nonprofit and for profit options. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to schedule an intensive one-on-one (and case by case) session on Tuesday, June 27th with VLANY lawyers for professional legal assessments in the following week FREE OF CHARGE!
