Guest guest
Hi , I have tried Potassium Iodide. It didn't work for me, but I think it did for some others. It tastes horrible, but other than that I didn't have any other side effects. I don't know what other peoples experiences were. Good Luck. Maile > > Hi there, > > New to the EN group. Guest guest
I took Potassium Iodide, but it was for a terrible cough I had that was later diagnosed as a small vessel vasculitis called Wegener's Granulomatosis. The PI made me break out in pustules. It was REALLY gross. And it didn't help my cough, but that was because it wasn't appropriate for my diagnosis. (Which I didn't have at the time.) Everyone doesn't have that reaction, but that might be one reason your doctor is hesitant. Joan in Cincinnati ---- Maile wrote: > Hi , > > I have tried Potassium Iodide. Guest guest
Hi Joan and Group, Potassium Iodide [sSKI] as I may have mentioned is a very old remedy. Here is a link that describes the many uses for SSKI. Oddly enough, EN is not mentioned. http://www.tahoma-clinic.com/iodide.shtml Love,
Guest guest
I don't remember if I had EN when I took it or not, so I can't say if it did any good on the EN front. Guest guest
I take Potassium Iodide and yes it has been effective. I have been on it since June 2007. EN since Jan 2007 potassium iodide Hi everyone - I have had erythema nodosum since January this year, it appeared to be going away, but in the past two weeks I have started getting new nodules, leg swelling, and the joint pain is getting bad again. So far the doctor has suggested bed rest and prescribed Naproxen. I have read that potassium iodide is something used to treat this condition. Has anybody tried it…and if so has it been effective? Thanks,le Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
