Guest guest
Hi Again, I think I should be on something as well! i was told i have so much inflammation in my body it's even in my blood! Well then what do we do? They put me on Neurotin and I have a new ulcer, not only on my belly but now finger!! They can give me all the anti inflammatory's they want, not much of a stomach with taking them all! Let's see what's going on here, fibromyalgia, thyroid, osteo-arthritis pretty bad, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, to name a few!!Mold allergies. I know exactly what you mean don't get scratched burned, fall, because your gonna be in big trouble! Any little puncture of the skin is another long lasting case of PG! That is what happens to me! ellen~
Guest guest
maryellen, we had talked some time ago about treatments for the inflammation. not sure if you remember. antinflammatories treat some of it, but not all. for people like ourselves, we need to go to the next line of defense, immunospressants or immunomodulators. not the prettiest meds to take, but it might give you your life back. there are some that are relatively cost effective. some are on generic. there are different classes, they work differently. not saying you have to go on a biologic, they are expensive. but prolly not necessary. i take infliximab because i have insurance. if didn't have insurance, i certainly would not be on it, i would have to seek out an alternative. if you haven't discussed this with your doc yet, it would be worth the discussion imho. jeff (aka the " mad scientist " ) > > Hi Again, > > I think I should be on something as well! i was told i have so much > inflammation in my body it's even in my blood!
