Guest guest
Daneka, Thanks for your comments and also for the interesting and telling example you describe. As for my book, - yes I have actually written the book in something of the form of a series of Essays. It is sitting among my things to this day, just waiting for the final assessment by the right editorial person, and then off to the publisher. If I could afford to do it, I’d just go ahead and publish for myself. For anyone who might be interested, I attach herewith the table of contents, (which of course may yet be altered or modified.) Cheers, Ron. You are so thoughtful and write so dispassionately, that it's very helpful to read what you say and even more helpful to roll it over in my head for days afterwards. I add my own urgings to the others' who have encouraged you to write a book. I'll add one other explanation, and that's the inability to interweave behavior and context. As an NT, the same gesture will have no reaction in a supermarket, but in a particularly romantic context will have a completely different reaction, physically as well as psychically. My experience with NT men is that for them, the same is true. For my AS husband, the reaction to the gesture is the same regardless of whether it occurs in a supermarket or in a candle-lit bedroom. Ron, if the promise proffered by the Table of Contents is borne out, you've got a Winner! - Bill, 75, AS -- WD " Bill " Loughman - Berkeley, California USA http://home.earthlink.net/~wdloughman/wdl.htm
