Guest guest
Hi , Just wanted to say welcome! I am sure you will hear from other members of the group, as I am fairly new myself. I also have bronch and pseudomonas infection, which at times has turned into pneumonia. I know it gets very frustrating, as the pseudomonas can be difficult to control (for me anyway). Where are you from and how long have you had bronch? Also what treatment are you taking to control the pseudomonas? I live in Sydney, Australia, and look forward to hearing more from you. Will write more later. Wishing you well. Tell me how do I get into the Club on the web. Do I just introduce myself with a summary or what. I have followed the Please Help episode with interest having Pseudomonas and Bronchiectasis and Pneumonia 2 or 3 times a year for the last 4 years. Cheque is in the mail and let me know how I enter the group
Guest guest
Hi Bunny, I just read the backlog of emails and your welcome asked a couple of questions I missed. I don't take any treatment for Pseudomonas. I watch for sputum colour change and the generally unwell feeling one gets with the curse. It is difficult to pick sometimes. Temperature is the final check point and that's when we call the Doctor and the Ambulance.I don't have time on my side. It can be an overnight change. The R/A treatment has really destroyed the immunity system and that gives aggressive infections like pseudomonas a free rein. I have access to APAC,(Acute and Post Acute Care) at the Royal North Shore Hospital and they have been wonderful to me with home Physio and care generally Did you ever live in the Belrose area. We had neighbour with your name,Bunnie . Regards Pete RE: Welcome :-) Hi , Just wanted to say welcome! I am sure you will hear from other members of the group, as I am fairly new myself.
