Guest guest
, This is interesting! I also leave important things by my front door- keys, purse, important papers and more that need to go with me the next day. It is not very neat, but I am working on that. I have done that for years and years, never knowing that it had anything to do with AS. An ADHD friend suggested putting postits on my door to remember important things- that is what she does. I occasionally use a postit, but they do tend to fall off sometimes.. I am more likely to write a things to do list, and leave it in the same place each day. wrote: As for me...it was about wanting to take control of my life and showing that even with a life of Asperger's that I am still the same person. I took plenty of pictures of my studio apt and my friends/relatives were impressed it was cleaner than their apartments. I have come a long ways in a very short period of time of having Asperger's (~ 3-4 months). One thing that helps me with having Asperger's is keeping everything on a try close to my front door (wallet, cell phone, watch, and keys). This way I create structure for myself every morning before I leave and don't wonder where those things are when I need to leave in the morning. I leave a key in the bathroom, just in case I accidently forgot to bring a key with me (my bathroom is across from the rest of my apt - anyone who has had this sort of experience knows what I am referring to here). I feel much more confident, less of a "klutz", and more in control of my life.--- . Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
