WHEN: August 7th, Saturday, 2004 from 7:00 to 9:00

We will now have a regular dance day in Manhattan every first Saturday of the month:

September 4, October 2, November 13 ( except this is the 2nd Saturday), and December 4

WHERE: Bridge for Dance

3rd Floor (between 104th and 105th streets)

(Take 1/9 subway line to 103rd stop)

COST: $5-$15 suggested donation

Next dance date in Long Island: August 15th at 's Place

For those city dwellers, or anyone for that matter, who haven't danced directly on the earth this dance is such a treat. The wind, trees, birds and cats join us in our sacred dance in 's beautiful backyard. Please join us!

and Nada share their love for traditional and modern village dances from around the world as we build a sacred dance village right here in the heart of our city. Throughout all ages and cultures,

sacred dances were used to honor the divine, to heal, to affirm connection to the earth and each other, to build community, and celebrate rites of passage and life

transitions. In Sacred Circle Dance we find our deepest selves, each other,

and we rediscover our

oneness with the universe again and again. It is where personal and

universal healing can occur.

The dances are joyful, meditative, mournful, full of beauty, life and

celebration. All dances are simple and taught. No partners necessary.
