What is love? Hard to define, yet something we all seek and want in our

lives. The pathway has many avenues: attraction, infatuation, falling in

love, longing, and even heartbreak.

On our journey, we will:

-explore our heart's desires through poems (and some surprises!) that speak

the words our hearts have felt

- have group discussion and conversation

-do writing of our very own

to put pen to paper*****

Led by Bass, Certified Poetry Therapist, founder and director of the

poetry practice (www.poetrypractice.com). is also a poet, writer,

spoken word artist, teaching artist and educator. has given workshops

at the 14St. Y, Beth Israel Hospital and schools throughout the New York

area. She's been seen on the Metro Channel's Unblinking Eye, and heard on

WBAI radio in New York City. She has performed at The Bowery Poetry Club,

CBGB's and Kiev. Several of her poems will appear in the 2006 " Everyday

Blessing's Calendar, " published by Sourcebooks. has also been

published in Poetica and Therapy NY. She is the author of the forthcoming

collection of poems, " I wish, I might. "
