Guest guest
Dear Leigh Anne: I read (though sometimes scanning quickly) through these posts and did not see anyone address the issue about what to do with the stored frozen milk. I understand Medela recommends 'scalding' milk before use, when it is thought to have been pumped through 'moldy' tubing. Bringing the milk to a bubble - but not a boil can kill any spores. Just thought I'd add on ... of course it is not as 'good' as fresh - but neither is frozen. :-) Warmly, Sharon Mattes, AAHCC, LLLL, IBCLC, RLC hm/ofc - cellwww.naturalbeginningsonline.com 'That which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do; not that the nature of the thing itself is changed, but that our power to do is increased.' - Heber J.
