Guest guest
Welcome ! I am an IBCLC and an LLLL. I had my third child three years after becoming IBCLC - he used to come to work with me! It was a great way to show postions and sling wearing.Leigh Anne in NYCSo sorry to have sent a blank message. My computer does that sometimes. Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself as well. I'm , a La Leche League leader and CLEC. I plan on sitting for the exam in 2012 (a little freaked out about the new requirements, but confident I can do it) and going into private practice. I have a three year old son and plan on having another child, so I expect my private practice to start out slow and build over the years until I can dedicate more time to it when my children are in older. I love being a LLL, and especially love doing home visits. I feel called to this work, and am very grateful to the IBCLC mentors who have shared their wisdom thus far. I am working towards sitting for the IBCLC exam in July 2011, after which, I plan to go into private practice. I look forward to getting to know you all.
