Guest guest
If other IBCLCs in NYC have had the misfortune of following up on a visit by the LC who charges exhorbitant rates and doesn't do the job, has anyone suggested to these mothers for them to personally file a complaint with IBLCE? I'd keep a copy of the form and webpage item (employers and consumers, filing a complain about an IBCLC) in my bag and hand it to the mother. It's a lot easier now that there is a form--mother can just pick the area that she's complaining about, fill it out and send it in. I'd tell her she'd be doing a good thing for lots of other mothers.
