Guest guest
Hi Barbara: Yes, we do do that, but often these parents are so traumatized that they just can't handle reporting. One mother went into such a deep depression after realizing her baby was at six weeks that she went through an entire year of therapy and meds. Its very hard for already exhausted parents who are coping with a breastfeeding problem to sort through what led to the train wreck. Even the parents I saw whose baby drank the expired formula (complete with disgusting clumps at the bottom of the bottle) that the hospital had given to them never reported it.
