Guest guest
Definately give it more time I think, especially if you only took one dose. A lot of people with PSSD are people with whom these symptoms have lasted for years after discontinuing the drug, not days. If I could take Paxil everyday for four years, and yet still seem to be improving with this at times, I don't see how it is at all possible for one pill to permanently damage you. Just give it time and try not to panic, anxiety isnt going to help your sex drive any. Once again, not trying to be patronizing, I know the source of these problems is the drug and not our minds, but if we get stuck on the fact that we are permanently hurt and hopeless, then even if we started to get better we'd never know. Finally, one dose of these drugs can linger in the system for a long time, still being in there after two or three days doesn't seem odd at all, and even if it is out of your system, the drugs effects can last some time longer than that (much longer in the sufferes of PSSD obviously). See how you feel in a few weeks or so. Best of luck.mikeduncan234 wrote: I was prescribed Cymbalta 60mg after I complained of stress to my"doctor". I took one dose on the way home and after reading about theside effects and the high/sick feeling it caused, I never tookanother. After about 3 hours I lost all sexual interest and theability to get an erection. 3 days later I managed an erection(although not very hard), but this took alot of time andconcentration. No pleasure to it and still no sexual thoughts. Nowit's been 5 1/2 days since I took the thing and no improvement (and noerection since) only a tingling feeling in that area almostconstantly. Maybe it's too soon to freak out, but I've seen that itshould be out of my system after 2-4 days. Could it still be in mysystem? What's my first step? Thanks in advance.
