Guest guest
I agree with Melody about making the best of what we have. I do not use my air conditioner. I have a few fans going that keep the house airy. I was able to reduce my electric bill considerably and I feel much better that I have cut down on the amount of electricity and have more money. On another note, New York has a serious problem with Con Edison. Con Edison is excavating for gas here in NY. In order to get gas, it must apply a poisonous gas that runs and contaminates the organic fields around.. It seems there is a natural connecting underground system that carries it elsewhere (veins) . The gas collecting is called FRACKING. It also seems that Con Edison is selling stocks to other countries who are investing in the surplus gas. A few years back, I saw a documentary about the Tennesse Valley. Mountains were chopped off and made flat to use the carbon rocks as energy. Consequently, the valley has shown strange problems particulary rivers and fields. It made a strong impression on me. Around the food coop in Brooklyn they are selling windmill power. That is the way to go. Melody, where is the description of your sprout cooler. I am back after a long absence.
