Guest guest
Hi Zahra Thanks for replying. Can I ask if you saw any side effects with either Neomycin or Rifaximin? Did you see any benefits? How do they compare to each other and how do they compare to Metronidazole? Sorry for all the questions, but we have such severe SIBO/clostridia, that I am exploring all alternatives to Metronidazole/Vancomycin. Thank you Elena Απο: Zahra Awan Î Ïος: "Autism-Biomedical-Europe " <Autism-Biomedical-Europe > Στάλθηκε: 5:34 Ï€.μ. Prior to that (2 years ago) she was on a course of Rifaximin for bacteria overgrowth . It worked really well. This was when we were under the "remote consultation" of Dr Cubala in Poland. We are now working with Dr Goyal. Are there any studies on either/both antibiotics and their use with children? I remember asking our gastro about Neomycin a while ago and he said that he does not usually prescribe it for children.
