Guest guest
No its LEF Mx Are those from holistic health the optizinc? Prob. with going that high is her copper and calcium levels -is casein free and doesn't tolerate calcium supps, so am trying (and amazingly one area where i'm actually winning) to maintain good calcium levels with green veggies etc. (According to yasko shouldn't go higher than 40mg, due to inflammation, so bothered if I make things worse - hard trying to get things in balance- one thing seems to knock something else off... Eilleen how did you get those zinc levels up? - Naomi's are very low despite supplementation, also low in copper- are giving 30mg zinc and still showing deficiency but know going up more will knock copper down further and calcium (latter just nice at the moment). Am seeing that different forms have better absorption than others - using zinc gluconate and zinc picolonate.Janet To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: biomed@...Date: Fri, 24 Feb 2012 19:58:30 +0000Subject: Re: iron/zinc I think they interfere with the action of each other, when I was beginning supplementation with J, I remember that I didn't give them together and I think the reason was the iron inhibits the absorption of Zinc. Also I didn't give it with Calcium, folate or phosphatidyl choline. It took me a long time to get Jay's Zinc levels up.E x>> > > > > Can these be supplemented together at the same time of day? Guest guest
Its just standard ASD dosing as far as I recall, if you want to add some copper then the sebacate (?sp) form is advised Mx This level of zinc supplementation seems quite high. Does Andy recommend this throughout the course of chelation or just during a round? I would be a bit nervous about supplementing at this level long term without zinc / copper ratio testing.
