Has anyone used Cheesecloth as a growing medium

I was just thinking. I have used Baby Blanket and Sure to Grow Mats (which are

fabulous by the way). But what about cheesecloth? I mean I use it to strain and

make greek yogurt, so why on earth can't I use it to grow sunnies, pea shoots,

etc?

It's a good question.

Anyone ever try this?
