Guest guest
For those in the TMC 125+ TMC 114 DUET study: Can anyone fax me a copy of the consent form you signed to join the study? My fax is Or you can scan it and email it to me at powertx@... I am concerned that people with Fuzeon resistance (and resistance to all commercially available medications) are not being clearly explained about the risks of developing resistance to TMC 114 if they get randomized to the TMC 125 placebo arm (50% chance). Those patients will be made to stay on placebo for 24 weeks before they can roll over to the combo arm. This is unacceptable and I am trying to explore single-patient access options for those patients who have low T cells and are thinking about joining this study. TMC 114 will become a viable protease to combine with future agents, and if you develop resistance to it you may be impairing future success in your treatment. Thanks to all in advance.
