Working on a story

I've been doing a little work on another story. This one will be a continuation of the previous story. It will take place a few weeks after the last story.

There will be some changes, however.

1. Easy T has been changed from a Wolf to a Dog Shaman. This has little effect in overall terms for him though. Rather than using shotguns, he will be using a rifle instead.

2. Maus is going to be changed from a troll to an orc. The reason for this is very simple. The team and stories they will face will be more oriented toward stealth and less on brute force combat. A troll would excell in brute combat, but they are also very large. This would make stealth much more difficult for them. An Orc is also bigger than a standard human, but not as large as a troll. So, he will still have toughness, just not as much. I am also debating about making him a physical adept.

3. Wraith, the existing physical adept will not change much, if at all. His specialty will still be as much stealth as combat. If Maus is made an adept as well, he will be more combat oriented.

4. Racer Z will have no particular changes either.

5. Aerie has no changes either.

6. The time will be moved back several years as well.

This is the rough plan for the future plot line.

This group will have a few more adventures together. After that, the different members will go their seperate ways. I see it going like this. Aerie goes to corporate: people with her skills will be in high demand there. Wraith will join the CAS military. Racer Z will try a few things and then end up running with a group of smugglers. Easy T plans to set up shop as an enchanter making alchemical materials. Maus will join a mercenary outfit where the pay is better and discrimination less than in the regular military.

Now, as before, Easy T will be the main focus of the story, since it will be told first person. I see his plotline going much like this. He starts out working with another enchanter, handling the little things while he learns the trade. A local gang learns that he is a mage, and forces him to use his magic to aid them against other gangs. Eventually He is able to turn on them an wipes them out, along with some of the other gangs. This causes him a lot of heat and he needs to leave the area for a time. So, he signs up with the same outfit as Maus is in. There he spends a time. Eventually he comes back and finds out that his old friends are also somewhat disillusioned with their lifes. Soon they will be running the shadows together again.

After that point there are a lot of ways that can go. My problem is having trouble coming up with ideas for runs. I think I will be able to solve that, however, by using the main history of Shadowrun to my advantage. Just how I won't say at present since all of that is still a ways down the road.

I'm going to be taking some of my materials to Alabama with me and plan to do some writing while I am down there. Since I will have access to a computer, I should be able to type up the stories and post them.

The plot for this next story is kind of hit and miss at the moment. There are some things I want to put in there, but I'm not sure it will fit exactly. Probably what I will do is incorporate two missions in one story, using the first one as kind of a feeler mission to test their ability. The following mission will be the real mission for which they are being tried.
