Guest guest
Daisy, Some of us are attempting the 21dc starting Monday..I'm sure that all would welcome you to join us..good luck and welcome to Tae Bo...I only started 25days ago..so I'm still kinda new but I'm loving it, infact I'm having a hard time letting myself have a day of rest here..every time I say I'll take the day off then I end up still pushing play but also glad that I did when I've completed the workout..Now really I deserve the day off but...anyways, if you want to join in MOnday...go for it.. Guest guest
Welcome, Daisy! There are quite a few people starting a 21DC on Monday. I'm sure they would LOVE the company! The Instructional tape is nothing to sneeze at! Way to go for working out with that yesterday. Susi > Hello. I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. My name is Daisy and I live in Indiana. I just started Taebo today..well..actually yesterday..and it was only the instructional tape.. I am really looking forward to starting the 21 day- challenge and was wandering if anyone would do it with me?? I have been doing yoga and some cardio for a month now and I have already lost 10lbs. I really would like to lose around 20-30 more. If anyone wants to do the 21dc with me just let me know. Thanks,Daisy
Guest guest
Barb,Thanks for the advice. I am thinking of doing what you said about one day doing the whole basic tape and the next day doing the instructional tape or half the basic. I understand about not starting off doing the challenge. The cardio I was doing was a taebo-rip-off, as I found out when I bought the tape. I already have been doing these moves for over a month...six days a week. I will admit the tapes are a little more advance than the class, and if I get to the point where I can tell my body can't take it I'll just stop the challenge. Thanks again,Daisy> In a message dated 09/24/2000 2:23:36 AM Eastern Daylight Time, > flowerpower@m... writes:> > << I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. Guest guest
Greetings Thanks to Jan Barger for pointing me to this great resource! I live in North Carolina and became an IBCLC in 2008. I have 2 breastfed children (ages 28 and 23), began my career with moms and babies in 1990 as an RN--NICU, Well Baby, Peds, PP, Hospice. Home care is my first love (7 years in home care). Currently I work in a hospital-based outpatient lactation office, and hope to soon be doing home visits. I am putting together the pieces of a lactation private practice. Guest guest
Ha Sara,Welcome,I am also new on this list, LLL-leaders since 1998 and IBCLC since 2004. I started my own practice this year. I do it slowly because my family is asking time.Besides my practice I work at a well baby clinic for 11 hours per week: preparing the organisation for the Baby Friendly certificate (Seven steps) and schooling/turoring health care workers. Our region has 5000 births/year. I have 2 children, DS 15 and DD 12 years.See you around.Marijke2010/5/15 Sara Spalding Hi,I just recently joined this Group. My name is Sara Spalding, and I live in Indianapolis, Indiana, with my husband and two children (6 and 4). I have been an LLL Leader for 3 years, and I'm planning on taking the IBCLC exam this summer, after which I would like to enter private practice, as well as continuing my LLL work. I am very excited to have joined this group because I don't know very much about the practical side to private practice, and I hope to learn more. I have been pleased that there has been a lot of discussion about topics that I really want to improve my competency on, such as assessing tongue-tie. I'm hoping to learn a lot from all of you ladies. Warmly,Sara SpaldingLLL Leader Indianapolis -- Lactatiekundig en Voedingskundig AdviesIr.
