NO, you won't want to use those for several reasons. Seed for animal feed is

stored far differently than food for human consumption, and is often invested

with vermin, larvae, or been around chemicals that you wouldn't want in your

diet. They also often " enrich " those seeds with vitamins for birds, and while

they are not likely harmful to humans, they probably aren't a good thing.

Often, the seed is very old too, been laying around possibly going rancid or

been exposed to rats, rodents, etc. I feel quite sure it even states on the bag

" not for human consumption " if you look. That said, there would be little harm

in planting them and growing your own sunflowers from them, although they may be

GMO seeds, so if that is a concern, you wouldn't want to.
