Problems at work

Can anyone offer advise on dealing with depression, anxiety, and what

may now be bipolar at work?

I have a high pressure job with a lot of responsibility. I often get

frustrated and angry. The anger has turned into outbursts. It seems

it takes very little to set me off. I am having problems with others

in the management team.

Right now I am at the point I just wish everyone would go away and

leave me alone. It that part of all this?

It is now to the point I am considering applying for disability as

work and the incidents at work continue to cause me anxity,

sleeplessness, binge drunking and smoking like a smoke stack. There

are very few " good " times.

I also have trouble remembering names, appts, and conversations.

Any insights or experiences would be much appreciated.

Well the anger can be a result of loosing your penis by the ssri's. I

know since I lost mine I have been angry all the time. Do you also

notice you have to take a piss often? My suggestion to you is to get

some xanax and gabapentin(neurotonin) they are not antidepressents,

just simple drugs that will calm you down some. it might make you a

little sleepy though. it will defenetly take the anxiety down though.

You should consider going on stress leave. People do it at my job

all the time (not always justified IMO), and it's very easy to get a

doctor's note. But use the time off constructively, get your " binge "

drinking under control, etc. I don't have any experience with anti-

anxiety meds, but perhaps it's something you should look into. You

can definitely make your life much more manageable. Do you excercise

at all? Good way to release pent up frustrations.

You've lost your penis? Where did it go? Mine's still there, if it's

still there, there's hope.
