Guest guest
the alfalfa, broccoli, clover and radish is really good too. That is a 4 seed mix. The radish had a slightly radish taste and could taste it definitely but not hot like radishes are when grown. The clover is slightly sweet and has a nice flavor. I don't know how to describe the alfalfa but most of us have have those sprouts. The broccoli I am not sure I tasted much. I had it on a sandwich and so might have missed the flavor of broccoli. But the mix tasted very good. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, April 7, 2012 9:55 AM Subject: Debbie's opinion: Begining ???'s (sprouts for salad)  I would go with wwww.handypantry.com 3 garden salad mix or if you want a one seed go with broccoli.. THEY ARE YUMMO! As EW says .. do what you want with your salad.. I add these things to our LARGE salad bowl (so hubby doesn't know he is getting more sprouts) but mine starts with a base of them. People say alfalfa is one of the first to start but after doing 3 garden and plain broccoli sprouts I think once I use up the alfalfa I have.. won't be buying more Have you tried making your own ranch dressing? There are a ton of online recipes for it. I almost always have fat-free buttermilk (or low-fat) around so there is the base.
